administrators are as follow:-

administrator (DBA) has a good communication skill and involve in a database
design and management.
Ø A database administrator
must have a technical, managerial and diplomatic skill. These skills are used
for understanding software and hardware, to carry out a different task and
important for communication with user to understand the needs of a user.
Ø A database administrator
is involves in early stage of software development. A database administrator
interviews different users to understand their current and future requirement.
DBA also knows the current system and its output.
Ø A database
administrator developed a logical and physical model. The logical model
consists of entities, attributes and relationships in the physical model DBA
develop an exact layout of the data. Database administrator choose a database
management system according to the requirement and constrains that is defined
in a logical model.
Ø A database
administrator is responsible for the security of the system. It also defined a
backup and data recovery procedures of the database system. Database
administrator is responsible for troubleshooting any problem that is occurs in
the system and monitoring and controlling user access to the database.

administrator is responsible for providing all the functionality that is

justified it and DBA guide the user about functionality of the database. DBA

dictionary. Data dictionary is collection of all data definition, relationship,
output style, report format, meanings of items and their usages. Data
dictionary is very important for database so it is revised regularly as a
project continues. Data dictionary help in maintaining the documentation. When
project is revised documentation is very important.

administrator known about a storage technologies and operating system (Linux or
window).
Ø A database
administrator maintained a data standard, integrity and consistency. Data
standard is a rule for inserting data in database. DBA ensure that data is
enters always according to these standards or data is not duplicated in
database.

administrator should regularly monitor the performance of the database. A DBA
check the authorization of the user, the software and hardware failure, the recovery
after failure simply DBA is responsible for system maintenance.
